The Affordable Health Care Act (ACA), or more commonly known as Marketplace Insurance, allows many people to get low cost, or even no cost medical insurance. The enrollment period for the ACA is November 1st through January 15th.
The rest of the year is known as the Special Enrollment Period. You may qualify for subsidized medical insurance outside of the ACA enrollment period if you have a qualifying event.
